With the thrust on reducing pollution from coal-based power plants, FGD plants have become the norm in the industry. CENGRS has successfully executed the work geotechnical onvestigation for the FGD System for Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power Project Stage-I & II (6x210 MW & 2X500 MW) in Singrauli District, Madhya Pradesh by Larsen & Toubro Limited.

The scope of work involves drilling of 66 Boreholes@15~30 m through soil and rock strata, performing 2 Cross-hole Seismic Tests upto 20 m depth, 21 Electrical Resistivity Tests, 5 Trial Pits, 3 Cyclic Plate Load Tests and 3 Field Permeability Tests.
