Cengrs Geotechnica Pvt. Ltd. continues its commitment to advanced in-situ testing for Geotechnical characterisation and to enhancing the state-of-geotechnical-practice in the country. The company has recently acquired the electric Cone Penetration Test (eCPT) from Geomil Equipment B.V., Netherlands.

The company is currently performing eCPT's at Chennai Petrochemical Corporation Ltd's refinery complex at Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu. The tests are expected to help in designing foundations for the refinery's heavily loaded facilities. The company hopes to perform eCPTs at different project sites in the country and contribute to developing a data base of high quality eCPT results in India.
