Cengrs Geotechnica Pvt. Ltd. conducted a comprehensive geotechnical investigation for the REGL Phase-II 2x800 MW Ultra-Supercritical Thermal Power Plant in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. Key Findings:
   ●Stratigraphy: Silty clay and clayey silt layers up to 9.5 meters, followed by shale at deeper levels.
   ●Groundwater Depth: Encountered at 10–15 m below the ground level.

○Use of rock socketing for structures requiring enhanced load-bearing capacity.

    Drilled 54 boreholes and conducted 18 electrical resistivity tests (ERT) for grounding system design.

○Rock quality designation (RQD) was determined for foundation stability.
