• Project Site: GGSRL/RT Station, Bathinda, Punjab
• Purpose: Development of a pipeline receiving terminal.

Key Findings:

• Stratigraphy: Sandy silt and silty sand layers extending up to 15 meters depth.
• Groundwater: Not encountered up to 15 meters depth, indicating low susceptibility to seepage issues.
• Foundation Recommendations:
  Open foundations with depths ranging from 1.0 to 3.0 meters, based on site-specific loads.
  Safe net allowable bearing pressures ranging from 6.3 to 12.0 T/m² for various foundation sizes.
  Liquefaction Potential: Negligible, due to medium to dense soil conditions and absence of shallow groundwater.

Technical Highlights:

• Conducted two boreholes up to 15 meters depth.
• Electrical Resistivity Tests (ERT) provided data for designing grounding systems.
• Laboratory testing included grain size distribution, shear strength, and CBR analysis.
